Public Safety Committee

The purpose of the Public Safety committee is to work on behalf of the Commission in areas related to Public Safety within the ANC 7a boundary. Specifically the committee will track issues and concerns of residents and raise awareness about the issue in the community.

The Public Safety committee will meet and discuss practical solutions to issues impacting the local community with regard to ANC Public Safety. May also be empowered to design programs and connect stakeholders to applicable government resources.

Responsibilities of the public safety committee include:

  • Report out regularly to ANC meetings

  • Keep open records

  • Raise awareness of the community through the commission

  • Meet at least once per month or more as the members see fit

The Public Safety Committee will appoint a contact person and decide on a regular meeting location, which will be listed on the ANC7a website.
